Fundraising Appeal: Restoring the Legacy of ZPH School

Dear Esteemed Alumni,

As members of the APNA ZPHS Welfare Association, we come together with an earnest appeal that comes from the very depths of our hearts. The legacy of ZPH School, Pedanandipadu, a source of educational inspiration for over a hundred years (1917-2017), invites us to collaborate in its restoration and the improvement of its flooring. Today, we seek your support to preserve this cherished institution that has nurtured countless minds and shaped future leaders.

Our Mission and Impact

The APNA ZPHS Welfare Association strives to build bridges between alumni, current students, and teachers. Our mission is clear: to improve infrastructure, provide mentorship, share knowledge, and offer financial support to ensure each student has the opportunity to thrive.

Our Achievements So Far (2024-2025)

During the 2024-2025 period, we carried out numerous activities that demonstrate our commitment:

  • Technology Donations: Donated an HP i5 desktop PC and a LaserJet Pro MFP printer to facilitate modern educational needs.
  • Extra Educational Support: Initiated daily evening extra classes for students in grades 6-9.
  • Robotics Training: Partnered with Universal Help, USA, and Venkataraya-Sreedhar Foundation to bring expert robotics courses to our students.
  • Infrastructure Developments: Engaged in landscaping projects and received administrative sanctions for major repairs costing over Rs. 40 Lakhs.
  • Community & Environment: Provided monthly treats to 350 students and planted 110 trees adopted by students.
  • Health Initiatives: Organized free dental and cardiology medical camps to support student wellness.
Proposed Initiatives for Improvement

We are excited to announce a significant initiative aimed at restoring our school’s legacy building. With approvals from the CEO of Zilla Praja Parishad, we are ready to commence essential repairs.

Phase One: Restoration Planning

Careful removal and reinstallation of roof tiles for structural integrity is almost completed. The other works to start including:

  • Restoration of walls and ceilings.
  • Repair and rejuvenation of wooden fixtures (doors and windows).
  • Overhaul of flooring to maintain aesthetic and functional value.

Tax Benefits for Donors

We have obtained a 12A income tax benefit for donations received. Furthermore, upon receiving 80G certification, all donors will be eligible for additional income tax benefits, ensuring your generosity aligns with your financial commitments.
