About the Association

Pedanandipadu aims to create a prosperous community that connects alumni, current students, and the school. Its vision is centered on enhancing relationships to honour the institution's legacy and promote educational excellence. The mission includes facilitating relationships, fostering a knowledge exchange platform, and contributing to the school’s progress through infrastructure support and alumni mentorship. Core objectives involve building a digital presence, restoring the school’s reputation, establishing essential facilities, and enriching the educational experience for current students through scholarships, resources, and motivational lectures. Formally recognized as "Alumni of PedaNAndipadu ZPHS" and commonly referred to as "APNA ZPHS," the association is inclusive of all former students from the school, uniting them through their shared educational heritage.

The APNA ZPHS Welfare Association serves as a development partner for the community, students, and school. Alumni relationships are enduring bonds that foster development and support for one another. It maintains connections to the school along with other students while offering an abundance of benefits and services. The Alumni Association provides a place for the establishment of positive relationships and business partnerships with persons who possess similar backgrounds, with the goal of integrating all the outstanding people on one platform. Alumni meetings are designed as a networking opportunity for current students, instructors, and staff to share their ideas and exchange experiences. Alumni meetings offer a chance to strengthen ties with former classmates and value their relationships with staff and teachers. Alumni can actively participate in volunteer programmes such as providing students with mentorship in their fields of expertise. They are also very important in providing scholarships to worthy students. Alumni connect with current students, imparting expertise, and the latest developments in their fields.

The alumni association's mission is to foster a positive relationship with this school's former students and encourage current students to keep an informal connection to it, which will improve the school's reputation. A school's chance to achieve success is greatly influenced by the necessity and significance of alumni associations. The alumni association is a network of professional contacts that can assist current students in obtaining the necessary help in selecting their next course of study. The Association will not be associated with any business and will only engage in voluntary work for the benefit of school and its students. The association will not pay the office bearers any remuneration; they will serve on a volunteer basis. It will not participate in any kind of antisocial activities that damages the school's reputation.

Main Objectives

  • To develop a website, build and maintain the full updated database of ZP High School Alumni.
  • To bring back the past glory of the ZPHS and assist in getting the basic facilities required to the school.
  • To help in building compound wall for the protection of the school property.
  • To elevate the ground level, grow green campus, and create hygienic environment.
  • To conserve and preserve the school main building with the help of Government / Archaeological Department.
  • To establish sports facility for students and promote sportsmanship among them.
  • To set up a new Library and build a big reading hall facility.
  • To provide mentoring service to students in selecting their higher studies.
  • To provide scholarships, textbooks, notebooks etc.
  • To arrange motivational lectures, yoga, healthcare & medical camps to students and staff./li>

Association Principles

The Association will not be associated with any business and will only engage in voluntary work for the benefit of school and its students. The association will not pay the office bearers any remuneration; they will serve on a volunteer basis. Organizational Structure

Executive Committee

The Executive Committee shall be accountable and responsible for carrying out and executing policies, plans, and procedures framed with due consultation with the Advisory Committee. The members of the Executive Committee shall be elected by APNA ZPHS members as per Byelaws of the Association. The Executive Committee shall properly plan all the activities of the association so as to ensure and deploy the funds in a prudent and transparent manner for all the activities including day to day activities. The first Executive Committee will be constituted mainly with the approval of all the members, and it will hold office for a term of three years, unless members resign their positions for personal reasons or because they are subject to disciplinary action by the Executive Committee. The next Executive Committee will be chosen through elections that comply to the procedural provisions in the rules. The Executive Committee will have the following members:

  • President
  • Vice President
  • General Secretary
  • Joint Secretary
  • Treasurer
  • Six Coordinators

Advisory Committee

The following Advisory Committee might provide the guidance and assistance required by the Association. Senior ZPH School students who hold important positions in the government, private, or corporate sectors, including well-known locals, may be considered for such positions subject to receiving their written consent. The members shall be drawn from seniors settled in India and abroad. It is also important to seek their views and advises for making policy decisions. The Advisory Committee will initially have a maximum of 15 members however, this number may be increased based on the suggestions given by the majority of the members and approved by the Executive Committee. However, the names will be accepted after getting the written consent from those members.

Other Committees:

There shall be the following Standing Committees and the functions of these committees shall be decided by the Executive Committee (Office bearers) after detailed deliberations among the members and duly minted:

  • Welfare & Scholarships Committee
  • Sports Committee
  • Technical Committee
  • Finance Committee
  • However, as and when based on the requirements of the Association, the Executive Committee will create more additional committees to complete the existing or new work(s) of the Association.
